Episode 1
Three years have passed since Kikaida defeated the DARK. From a dark cloud, a bolt of lightning strikes the ground. Out of the ground rises a dark form--Gill Hakaida. He is followed by Red Hakaida, Blue Hakaida and Silver Hakaida. These four androids are after a young boy named Akira, who is guarded by a red and blue robot called Kikaida-01.
Episode 2
Ichiro shows a photograph of Akira and a mysterious woman to a nurse at a hospital. She takes him and Akira to the woman's room, but the woman is gone. They are suddenly attacked by the Hakaidas. Ichiro and Akira run into an amusement park where Ichiro turns himself into Kikaida-01...
Episode 3
Just when 01 is about to be destroyed by the Hakaidas, the sound of a guitar is heard and Kikaida appears on his side machine. The Kikaida brothers take on the Hakaida squad, but when it starts to look bad, the Hakaidas vanish in a puff of black smoke...
Episode 4
Silver Shrimp invades a home and takes a little girl hostage. When Ichiro and Akira ride up to the house, Red Hakaida has Ichiro in his sight, but he is saved by the girl's mother. Ichiro manages to save the girl, but Akira disappears. Kikaida once again comes to the aid of his brother Kikaida-01.
Episode 5
The Hakaidas have been building a base on Blue Alligator Island from which they plan to dominate the world. 01 and Kikaida try to rescue Akira and another boy who has been kidnapped by androids, but Blue Alligator hampers their efforts.
Episode 6
Scarlet Centipede suddenly appears at a magic show and captures the children trying to flee. When Akira is kidnapped by an android, Ichiro quietly follows them to a secret cave. Helped by Kikaida, 01 frees Akira and destroys Prof. Gill's flute.
Episode 7
Ichiro and Akira stop at a diner where they are attacked by Black Dragon. Akira runs away and is saved again by the mysterious woman who always comes to his rescue. They are captured later by the Hakaidas, but are saved by 01 and Kikaida.
Episode 8
Gattaida, the four Hakaidas combined, tries to destroy Ichiro and Akira on Double Machine. Jiro saves Akira and takes him to a hotel. Akira is again captured by androids and Ichiro and Jiro work together to save him.
Episode 9
Akira has been abducted by Shadow Knight. The Hakaidas attack him, but don't get far. Jiro and Ichiro join in to battle the Hakaidas and androids. Red Hakaida in disguise takes Akira and the mystery woman away, and a desperate search gets underway.
Episode 10
The mysterious woman, Rieko, saves Akira once again from the clutches of Shadow Knight, but they are captured by Silver Hakaida and the androbots. They are saved in the end by Kikaida 01.
Episode 11
A Ghost Lady appears, and terrorizes people. Ichiro hears a young boy crying for help, so he leaves a sleeping Akira to save the boy. Kikaida 01 destroys Ghost Lady with the help of Kikaida.
Episode 12
Ichiro helps a boy who is ill after being scratched by a cat. When Ichiro goes out to investigate a cat's meow, he sees a flying black cat head. When the little boy awakens, he is terrified of his "mother,'' who turns into a blue-faced woman.
Episode 13
A large earthquake hits the area. In the chaos, Shadow Rokuro appears. Its neck stretches and becomes snakelike. Akira is captured by Gill Hakaida, who then attempts to kill him with his knife, but Akira is saved by 01.
Episode 14
A young girl is hunted by a hideously disfigured monster. Kikaida 01 and his brother Kikaida save the day. Rieko reveals the secret behind Akira's identity and the diagram on his back.
Episode 15
A girl follows Akira when he leaves a pool area. They are followed by two women. Hakaida and his SHADOW Assassins try to capture them.
Episode 16
Akira is tied up in the backseat of a car. Ichiro arrives to save him with the help of Jiro, but they must first battle the evil henchmen of SHADOW.
Episode 17
People are being attacked in the streets. There is a great deal of interest in a briefcase which appears to be holding a bomb. Another young boy is discovered to to have parts of a diagram on his back, too.
Episode 18
SHADOW scientists work on a new monster without the plans on Akira's back. Rieko and Akira are captured, and their execution is ordered.
Episode 19
Ichiro, Akira, Rieko and Ganta are attacked by American Indians as they hide out in a cabin. With the help of Kikaida, 01 is able to defeat the Indian monster.
Episode 20
Hakaida orders Akira to replace a cylinder in a case used by 01, with one he has brought. This switch backfires on Hakaida.
Episode 21
SHADOW warriors creates a life-size doll which transforms into a vampire bat. Pandemonium reigns when Ichiro seems to be in two places at once.
Episode 22
A monster scorpion teaches a group of boys to shoot at cutouts of Ichiro and Jiro, then Kikaida 01 and Kikaida. Meanwhile, Hakaida and Shadow Knight battle for the Number 2 position.
Episode 23
Kikaida 01 fights a foe that just doesn't want to stay dead. Misao and Hiroshi witness a murder by a woman in red.
Episode 24
The world is being taken over by pig-faced men! And ordinary-looking people seem to have the shadow of pigs.
Episode 25
Ichiro is tricked into a rocket that takes him to the SHADOW moon base. Hakaida and Shadow Knight take off in the rocket, leaving Ichiro behind on the moon.
Episode 26
Misao, Hiroshi, and Akira's next adventure begins on a ship. When Ichiro arrives to save Misao, Zadam appears and nearly destroys Kikaida 01.
Episode 27)
Ichiro confronts Zadam, who keeps vanishing. After some thought, Ichiro realizes that Zadam disappears when the sun shines into his eyes.
Episode 28
A giant clam shell is placed on public display. When the shell opens to reveal a beautiful woman, the men and boys stand transfixed. The woman tries to work her spell on Ichiro.
Episode 29
Zadam produces to monsters. The explosion that results when they are created attracts Kikaida 01. Working together, the monsters produce powerful electric shocks.
Episode 30
A female android appears from a circle of flowers, then flies away. Ichiro hears a harp playing, and sees the female android. She shoots exploding arrows at Ichiro. This is Bijinda.
Episode 31
Misao is zapped by Bijinda and she falls off a bridge. Hiroshi and Akira frantically search for her, without success. Ichiro finally finds her injured, in the morning. She was rescued by Mari who Ichiro later realizes, is really Bijinda.
Episode 32
Bijinda escapes from Zadam and SHADOW. Exploding ink created by SHADOW causes chaos. Angry at Bijinda, Big Shadow activates her pain circuit.
Episode 33
Ichiro is chased by a big gorilla and a little gorilla and, as 01, he destroys the big gorilla. Bijinda trains the little gorilla to fight, and changes him into a big gorilla.
Episode 34
Beams sent from a bird-shaped clock cause people to begin assaulting one another. Mari, who tries to stop a fight among some boys, is attacked.
Episode 35
Kimono and wigs cause mayhem as women who wear them begin acting strangely. Ichiro saves Bijinda from destruction when he arrives in the nick of time.
Episode 36
Misao is sucked into a mysterious room. The same happens to Hattori Hanpei. Ichiro and Mari watch as Hakaida drives into a time tunnel, and follow him.
Episode 37
Hakaida is assigned to hunting down and killing dogs for the sake of SHADOW's newest android Waruda. Hanpei makes a final appearance.
Episode 38
Letters delivered by SHADOW mailmen cause trouble among the people of the town. Ichiro saves Misao and the boys from letter bombs.
Episode 39
Four boys are frozen in place by some aliens from a space ship. Kikaida 01 and Bijinda join forces to destroy the flying saucer. Waruda is injured in a blast.
Episode 40
A construction crew has been enslaved by SHADOW. Two children looking for their father are protected by Mari, who freezes in the cold of winter.
Episode 41
SHADOW's great battleship wreaks havoc, using a giant fan to generate tornadoes. Waruda battles Kikaida 01 as Bijinda holds off Hakaida,
Episode 42
Shadows come alive as Zadam shows Big Shadow a new weapon which will be used to destroy Kikaida 01 and Bijinda.
Episode 43
Robots appear from an underwater base. While they are fighting with Mari on the beach, a man comes along to help her out.
Episode 44
SHADOW has plans to turn fruits into explosives. As fruits disappear from a local grocer's shelves, children take out their frustration on the grocer's son.
Episode 45
SHADOW develops a yellow liquid which, when triggered by a sword, explodes. Ignorant of this, Ichiro is marked when Hakaida shoots him with a tainted arrow.
Episode 46 - Final Episode.
Dr. Komyoji is kidnapped by SHADOW. He is forced to activate a machine that rebuilds destroyed androids. Ichiro, Jiro and Mari battle to save Dr. Komyoji.
