Tendo Yoshimi is the farthest thing from an angel you can think of. Dressed in black from head to toe, he loves to tease and often acts rashly. He can work neither magic nor miracles. So, why should a down-on-himself pessimist like Shiro believe him when Tendo predicts he will die if he doesn’t complete the tasks set out for him? Episode 1
Shiro, who has long given up all hope of ever passing the college entrance exam, has been living the life of a pessimistic wastrel. One day, he’s accosted by Tendo who claims to be an angel. If, by 1:30 PM tomorrow, Shiro doesn’t mend his ways and learn to sincerely desire to live, he will die!
Episode 2
If Shiro doesn’t kiss Koharu by 10:30 the next morning, he will die. Shiro and Koharu are sent chasing after a delivery truck that’s taking a package from Yuuki to the wrong woman. Amidst all the confusion, Shiro tries to get a kiss in, but Koharu’s got her guard up!
Episode 3
Shiro is hired fulltime, but he’s at a loss when he’s ordered to play the piano at the firm’s anniversary party. Meanwhile, Tendo tells Shiro he must be hugged by an older woman and thanked by her. Shiro has no wish to do that, till he meets a widow named Ruri.
Episode 4
Shiro is told he must cry some real tears by 6:00 PM. Now that his life is going well, he pays little heed to Tendo’s words. He doesn’t keep an appointment with Ueki who desperately asks for his help, and this leads to a disastrous situation.
Episode 5
If Shiro does not fulfill his most important promise by 4:30 tomorrow, he will die. Shiro recklessly makes one promise after another, first to Ruri’s daughter Ai, then his boss Yuuki, and he even promises Koharu he’ll take her out to eat. Tendo gives him a warning, but....
Episode 6
The heavenly message is for Tendo, this time. If Ruri doesn’t strike Tendo, Shiro will die. Although he is enamored by Ruri, Tendo tries his darnedest to get her angry. Meanwhile, Koharu’s father brings her an offer of marriage.
Episode 7
Shiro must fulfill two commands: He must kiss a man, and he must follow every rule. Following rules isn’t difficult to do, but kiss a man?! Meanwhile, Yuuki agrees to a judo showdown between his firm and that of a rival.
Episode 8
Shiro will die if he can’t beat his three brothers. He has an inferiority complex when it comes to his over-achieving big brothers. An incident occurs which involves Shiro’s oldest brother--a politician, his second brother--a lawyer, and his third brother--a doctor.
Episode 9
If Shiro doesn’t make the right decision, he will die. That order so worries Shiro that he can’t even decide on what drink to order. When Koharu is bitten by a venomous snake, Shiro hurries to get her the serum. Then he discovers he’s been bitten as well and there’s only enough serum for one!
Episode 10
If Shiro doesn’t reform someone, he will die. Three men with the same name as Shiro are killed, one after the other. Shiro finds himself under suspicion of being a drug dealer. A hit man threatens to kill Shiro and his co-workers if he doesn’t hand over the drug money.
Episode 11 - Final Episode
If Shiro cannot say good bye to Tendo, it will be instant death for him. Shiro decides to wait until the last minute to say his good byes. Meanwhile, hit man Li calls in a bomb threat to Shiro’s company and demands 100 million yen. All they’re able to scrape together is 3 million...! |
