Forbidden Love (Majo no Joken)
Michi, a 26-year-old high school math teacher, is dissatisfied with her everyday existence. Hikaru is a student who has just transferred from another school. Attraction turns to love, and soon a witch hunt of sorts begins as Michi is attacked for her “shocking” behavior.

Episode 1
Michi got her teaching job thanks to the influence of her dad, but she doesn’t seem to be able to relate well with her students. In her private life, Masaru has asked her to marry him, but she feels no joy in that. Then, a chance meeting turns her world upside-down.
Episode 2
Michi turns away from Masaru, but he refuses to give up. Meanwhile, rumors about Michi and Hikaru spread on campus and Michi receives a harsh lecture from the vice-principal. Hikaru becomes frustrated when he learns that he is immune from expulsion.
Episode 3
Michi tries to turn off her feelings for Hikaru, but the harder she tries, the stronger her feelings become. They become the target of criticism of the people around them. Soon, Hikaru’s parents learn about their relationship.
Episode 4
Michi and Hikaru spend a night in the library necking. Everyone around them is opposed to their relationship. One Sunday they exchange rings, and as they embrace, a car goes by. In the car is Hikaru’s mother’s lover!
Episode 5
Michi decides to go before the student body to declare her love for Hikaru, but it solves nothing. Both of them are treated with disdain, and not only by the people at school. Michi’s parents begin receiving crank calls as well.
Episode 6
Michi and Hikaru decide to escape this cruel world and find a place where they can be free to love. They decide to go to visit Hikaru’s uncle--his late father’s brother--a former teacher.
Episode 7
Masaru finds out from Kyoko where Michi and Hikaru are hiding out. When he catches up to them, he attacks them in a rage. They manage to escape, but Michi wrecks the car and they're forced to run on foot.
Episode 8
Michi is arrested for kidnapping, and Hikaru is thrown into despair. Michi undergoes psychological evaluation and Hikaru is questioned as the "victim." Still, their love is unwavering.
Episode 9
Two separate them, Hikaru will be sent abroad to finish high school. Michi collapses one day, and discovers she is pregnant with Hikaru's child, when she come to. Michi's father threatens to disown her if she decides to have it.
Episode 10
Michi collapses when she come face to face with Hikaru. Doctors manage to save the baby, but she must have complete bedrest. Hikaru is determined to marry Michi now, but Michi doesn't want him to sacrifice himself for her.
Episode 11
Michi and Hikaru go their separate ways. Michi returns to teaching, this time at an intermediate school. Hikaru is lost, unable to find a direction in life. One day, they bump into each other at an art exhibition.
