Concerto
Japanese heartthrobs Tamura Masakazu and Kimura Takuya co-star with the lovely Miyazawa Rie in a story of two architects in love with the same woman. Kakeru (Kimura), 25, is teaching himself to become an architect, with the support of his girlfriend Hana (Miyazawa). Kakeru's dream is her own. Life becomes complicated when they meet Ebisawa Kosuke (Tamura), 50, a famous architect, who falls in love with Hana.

Episode 1
One day Kakeru and Hana witness a man dressed in a tuxedo come out from the sea. He tells them he's come from the land of angels, then promptly falls asleep on the sand. They take him home with them, but they aren't aware of his true identity. The man, Ebisawa Kosuke, turns out to be a famous architect. A month later, Kakeru is mistaken for a thief when he is caught copying the architectural designs of a house designed by Ebisawa.
Episode 2
Kakeru, a fledgling architect, goes to Ebisawa for a job, and is surprised to discover the true identity of the man who came from the sea. Angry to have been duped, Kakeru storms out. Ebisawa finds his way to Kakeru's apartment, where he introduces himself to a stunned Hana, but Kakeru will have nothing to do with him. Ebisawa tells a rich client that Kakeru is actually an architectural genius, and that they want to design her home together.
Episode 3
Work on the city hall designs grinds to a halt when Kosuke's staff ups and quits. Meanwhile, Kakeru confesses to Hana that he saw her and Kosuke kissing. Upset, Hana disappears. Kakeru asks Kosuke to let him help design the city hall. Kosuke is impressed with Kakeru's work.
Episode 4
When Kakeru discovers that Kosuke loves Hana, he decides to give her up. Two months later, Kosuke and Hana are married. On Hana's birthday, Kosuke is excited about Hana's birthday bash, but he's called in to his office. After solving one set of problems there, he's then called out to the construction site, and he misses the party.
Episode 5
Sparks of jealousy arise when Kosuke sees Hana and Kakeru walking hand-in-hand. Even when Kosuke and Hana are playing video games, Kakeru's name keeps coming up. Seeing how happy his former wife is now, Kosuke reaches the end of his rope and confronts Kakeru.
Episode 6
Kakeru wants to quit his job to devote his time to designing the chapel. Kosuke makes it impossible for him to quit. Exhausted from all his work, Kakeru orders the wrong glass for the city hall windows. Kosuke tries to get the glass exchanged, but is refused. Kakeru then goes to beg the owner of the glass business, to no avail. Kakeru later receives good news from an unexpected source.
Episode 7
Kosuke begins losing business when he is arrested for breaking the windows at the construction site, and is targetted by the media when he refuses to explain his motives. Two years later, Kakeru has finally finished the church he'd been working on. Kosuke hears that Kakeru has plans to marry his sponsor's daughter Kyoko. There's also a rumor circulating that Kosuke depends on Hana to bring in work for him.
Episode 8
A month later, Kakeru discovers Hana working at a service station. Kosuke has no idea of her whereabouts. Kakeru's work is going well, but he finds himself at the mercy of his sponsor, Tatsumi. Kakeru tries to warn Kosuke away from a contest fixed by Tatsumi. In the ensuing argument, Kosuke discovers that Kakeru knows Hana's whereabouts.
Episode 9
After four years, Hana and Kakeru are living together once again. One day, when he gets to the construction site, Kakeru discovers that Tatsumi has taken him off the job. He's even been kicked off the convention center job. Kyoko tells Hana that her dad won't forgive Kakeru and will probably destroy his career for calling off their wedding. Feeling guilty, Hana leaves Kakeru a note and returns to Kosuke.
Episode 10 - Final Episode
Kakeru and Kosuke go their separate ways after their big job is done. Kosuke tells Hana to go with Kakeru, but she goes off alone. One day, Tatsumi plunks down 300 million yen before Kosuke and Kakeru and begs them to help him one final time, but the two architects refuse. When the two discover that Hana hasn't been with either of them, they try to find her...
