Today's Menu #17 Boiled Bonito Ingredients
1. Peel the Bonito skin, cut into small inch cubes. Sprinkle with salt. Leave for approximately 10 minutes. The water of the bonito should be drained. 2. In a medium sized pan, bring water to a boil. Place Bonito in water and boil until browned, then drain in a bamboo colander. 3. Peel the ginger skin, cut it into julienne strings. 4. Put 1/2 cup Soy sauce, 1/2 cup Mirin, 2 Tablespoon sake and sugar in a pan. Bring to a boil until soup is gone. Japanese Recipe
