Making it Through 8 (Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari)
The Okakura family is back again, in their eighth year of the series. Patriarch Daikichi (Fujioka Takuya) has no time to rest between operating his eatery and counseling his five daughters and his grandkids, who come to him with their problems. The grandkids are young adults, with pressing problems that affect their parents, as well as themselves. The members of this family face problems that many of us do ourselves, which might account for the popularity of this long-running drama series.
